The Stainless Steel 201 Sheet and Plate is an austenitic alloy containing 16–18% chromium, 3.5–5.5% nickel, and 5.5–7.5% manganese, enhanced with carbon and nitrogen to improve strength and hardness. It offers a tensile strength of about 520 MPa and excellent formability, making it ideal for fabrication and cold-working processes. Its reduced nickel content makes it economical, while the high manganese addition ensures toughness and resistance to mild corrosion and wear.
